A strategic appointment to accelerate digital innovation

Prior to joining Ferroman, Hallin served as Head of Data Analytics & AI at Uddeholm, where he led groundbreaking initiatives in sales forecasting, process optimization, and energy simulations. His projects leveraged applied machine learning, statistical forecasting, data driven optimization, and generative AI, setting new standards in industrial digitalization. 

He is also a respected thought leader in the AI community, frequently speaking at industry events and academic institutions such as Karlstad University, and contributing to national conversations on manufacturing innovation. 

In his new role, Hallin will lead Ferroman’s AI and data strategy — building a high-performance team, developing digital services, and driving the productization of smart steel solutions. He will also collaborate closely with the APC team in Finland and Ferroman Learn to deliver integrated, value-driven offerings.
